MIDI keyboard test
Plug in your keyboard, press Start and play a key. This page lists every MIDI input your browser can see and shows each note you play with its name, octave and velocity, the keys you are holding and the sustain pedal. It runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
The test needs Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Opera on a desktop or laptop. Safari on a Mac and every browser on iPhone and iPad have no Web MIDI, so they cannot see a keyboard at all. Klaviero itself has the same requirement. Full requirements.

What the readings mean
The key you pressed, with its octave. Middle C is C4 here, MIDI note 60. Some manufacturers number octaves one lower and call the same key C3.
How hard the key went down, from 1 to 127. If every note reads the same number, the keyboard is set to a fixed velocity or has no touch response.
Controller 64. 64 or above is down. A pedal that reads Down when it is up has its polarity reversed: switch the keyboard off, leave the pedal up and switch it on again, or change the pedal setting in its menu.
Press your lowest and highest key to see your keyboard's range. Which pieces fit 61 keys uses the same ranges.
The MIDI channel, 1 to 16. A keyboard normally sends on channel 1.
If nothing shows up
No input listed means the browser cannot see the keyboard. Inputs listed but no notes means the keyboard is seen and not sending: check that MIDI out or USB MIDI is switched on in its menu. Both cases are covered browser by browser on MIDI keyboard not detected.
Play something
If the notes show up here, they will show up in Klaviero. The first movement of the Moonlight Sonata is free to play. Every piece with its note count and difficulty is on the pieces list, and by composer on the composers list.
